The details of the plantation assets owned by the Fund as at 30 June 2008 are as follows:

Bekoh Estate


  Tenant : Boustead Properties Berhad  
  Location : Approximately 13 kilometres north west of Tangkak town, Muar, Johor.  
  Description : The subject property is known as Bekoh estate with a net land area of  
    1,226.1 hectare and planted area of 1,188.4 hectares.  
  Tenure : Freehold  
  Existing use : Cultivation of oil palm  
  Date of Acquisition : 29 December 2006  
  Cost of Acquisition (RM 000) : RM33,510  
  Last Valuation (RM 000) : RM34,700  
  Date of valuation : 8 June 2006

  Tenancy period : Three years, automatically renewable four times up to twelve years and

Malaya Estate


  Tenant : Boustead Properties Berhad  
  Location : The subject property is located within the precinct of Kubu Gajah, Selama,  
    Perak. It is situated in two separate localities due to its two separated  
      divisions.  
  Description : The estate is divided into 24 fields and further subdivided into 2  
      divisions. The net land area is 922.1 hectares where 852.9  
      hectares is planted area.

  Existing use : Cultivation of oil palm

    : hectares and planted area of 801.3 hectares.  
  Tenure : Freehold  
  Existing use : Cultivation of oil palm  
  Date of Acquisition : 29 December 2006

  Description : There are two 2 divisions within Bukit Mertajam estate, Kelang Baru  
      Division and Batu Puteh Division. The net land area is 2,173.2 hectares where 2,057.1 hectares is planted area.

      area is 968.7 hectares where 895.2 hectares is planted area.

      kilometres southest of Kota Tinggi town, Johor.  
  Description : Teluk Sengat estate comprises sixty six (66) parcels of land with a net land  
      area of 3,692.71 hectares and planted area of 3,538.6 hectares.  
  Tenure : Freehold  
  Existing use : Cultivation of oil palm  
  Date of Acquisition : 29 December 2006

  Description : The subject property is held under part of Parent Lot Nos. 1292, Mukim of Johor  
      Lama, District of Kota Tinggi, State of Johor. The designated land area is 19.2 hectares. The mill capacity is around 30 MT/hour.

  Description : The subject property comprises eleven parcels of oil palm land. It is  
      operated andmanaged as Lepan Kabu estate together with Lepan Kabu Palm Oil Mill. The net land area is 2,036.2 hectares where 1,985.4 is planted area.

      of Kuala Pahi, District of Kuala Krai, State of Kelantan. The designated land area is 8.0 hectares. The mill capacity is 20 MT/hour.
